Here’s a few more reasons why you should choose Solar Sun Rings:
Safety - No other floating solar cover matches Solar Sun
Rings design for safety… the primary design objective was to prevent accidental entrapment.
Durability - High quality, UV-resistant vinyl (polyvinyl chloride) outlasts polyethylene 3 to 1, and is not destroyed by pH fluctuation,
high chlorine concentration or salt water systems. Also, vinyl is very easily repaired if accidentally punctured.
Solar Efficiency - Solar Sun Rings were designed to safely heat swimming pools, not to cushion packages. The solar efficiency of Solar
Sun Rings greatly surpasses bubble pack solar blankets. The inferior plastic in conventional covers reflects much of the sun's energy, and doesn’t
allow adequate deep-water heating. The effect is that Solar Sun Rings - with 70% to 80% coverage - outperform bubble pack covers with 100% coverage!
Prevents Mustard Algae - The 100% pool coverage and inefficient heating associated with bubble-pack covers creates additional problems,
too. By blocking all direct sunlight, mustard algae will form in your pool within a very short time, meaning you simply cannot use a traditional
solar blanket continuously. Solar Sun Rings, however, with their increased solar efficiency & 70-80% coverage, are designed for continuous use
without culturing a pool full of mustard algae!
Compatible with your Pool Equipment - Solar Sun Rings are designed to be compatible with automatic pool cleaners. Solar Sun Rings are also
compatible with solar panel systems, giving your pool a double shot of the sun's energy during the day, and great nighttime insulation.
Easy Placement & Removal - Solar Sun Rings were designed for handling by one person.
Easy to Clean - The five foot diameter of each ring also allows for much easy cleaning than with traditional solar blankets. Cleaning is
easy, too. After removing Rings from the swimming pool, they can be easily cleaned with a sponge and mild detergent solution.
Warranty - Solar Sun Rings are warranted to be free of manufacturing defects for two years. Warranty is limited to materials and workmanship
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Inflation: The inner grid of each Ring should be inflated orally with only about 2 large breaths of air, for an average adult. Don't use
more air - two breaths is all that's needed. Close the valve, "bunch up" the Rings to move the contained air around, and to separate both layers
of plastic - the Ring cannot lie flat unless the layers are separated. Each Ring will be about the size of a soccer ball when "bunched" up. The
outer ring should be inflated orally until it is firm. Close the valve, and the place Rings in a single layer (do not stack) in direct sunlight
on a flat, non-abrasive surface until the packing lines relax. This will take approximately 10-30 minutes depending on the intensity of the sun.
If the Ring does not lie flat after packing lines are relaxed, examine the Ring for areas where the layers of plastic are not separated & "bunch
up" again. If the Ring still doesn't lie flat, measure the diameter. A properly inflated Ring is 60 inches in diameter. If the Ring is smaller
than 60", use the deflation tube (provided) to remove air from the inner grid until the Ring lies flat. Excessive air in the inner grid, deep
packing lines and failure to separate the two layers may all cause the outer edge of the Ring to curl and distort.
Using Solar Sun Rings for Heating Your Pool Water: Once the Rings are inflated, cover 70% - 80% of the surface of your pool with Rings,
by placing the blue colored side on the water. Do not cover more than 70% of the surface (for deep pools); or more than 80% (for shallow pools).
For the best solar effect, keep the upper surface clean and clear.
Using Solar Sun Rings for Cooling Your Pool Water: Turn the Rings over so that the blue side is face-up. Rings do not heat efficiently
when turned upside down in this manner, but will instead keep direct sunlight off your pool's surface.
Using Solar Rings for Chemical & Water Savings: Water and chemicals cannot evaporate through the two layers of heavyweight vinyl. You
will save on water & chemicals in proportion to the percentage of pool surface covered, and the length of time Solar Sun Rings are in use on your
pool.
Care of Solar Sun Rings: Once inflated, proper care of your Solar Sun Rings will greatly extend their useful life. While Rings are not
in the pool, do not walk on them or drag them - especially on abrasive surfaces such as pool decking. Due to their thermal and insulating properties,
Solar Sun Rings must be stored out of direct sunlight when they are removed from the pool, to prevent overheating & melting of vinyl films. Do
not use Solar Sun Rings as pool toys. |
